A Collaborative Production

Born into the Black and White is an officially licensed Highlanders Football Club feature film — produced by Junza Studios in direct co-production with the club, with full rights to its name, crest, colours, and history. Two institutions, one story.

Officially licensed · Premieres 4 Dec 2026 in Bulawayo & Harare

The Story

A city is watching to see which man he becomes.

A gifted, self-destructive young footballer must confront the ghost of the man who came before him — and a city that already knows how this kind of story can end.

"What does it mean to wear the Black and White — not just on the pitch, but in life?"

That's as much as we're saying for now. The rest of it is being filmed in Bulawayo from 20 October.
